何玲玲简介

旅美次女高音歌唱家何玲玲毕业于广西艺术学院音乐系。1998年前往美国学习声乐，先后就读于世界著名学府约翰. 霍普金斯大学 (Johns Hopkins University)  琵芭迪音乐学院 (Peabody  Conservatory) 和美国那布拉斯加- 林肯大学, 从师于著名声乐教育家菲利斯 · 布莱尔-尧生 (Phyllis Bryn-Julson) 和著名次女高音歌唱家艾瑞尔· 拜比(Ariel Bybee)，并获得音乐硕士学位和艺术表演文凭。

近年来, 何玲玲成功的活跃于国际歌剧舞台和音乐会中, 并以出色的演唱才能在著名国际比赛中获奖. 它们是, 墨那歌的第三届蒙特-卡罗国际声乐大赛,  美国纽约的歌达· 雷声納国际声乐比赛和美国丹佛举行的韦拉· 司根门国际声乐比赛. 其中, 她获得美国歌唱教师协会声乐比赛的第一名和新加坡作曲家协会举办的创作歌曲演唱赛冠军. 在美国留学期间，何玲玲连续三年荣获新加坡艺术理事会授予的海外艺术奖学金，并两度获得琵芭迪音乐学院事业发展奖学金。

她以自己卓越的表演和演唱才华先后在十多部歌剧中扮演不同风格的角色, 其中有, <女人皆如此>中的德萝贝拉, <蝴碟夫人> 中的铃木, <汉瑟尔与葛雷泰>中的汉瑟尔, <朱烈尔. 凯撒>中的珂雷丽亚, <吉普塞女孩>中的吉普塞女王等. 她还应邀参加意大利罗马音乐节；爱尔兰 沃特佛国际歌剧节和新加坡 亚洲艺术节的演出；以及在美国, 新加坡, 马来西亚, 奥大利亚等国家演唱音乐会和举行独唱音乐会. 受到广泛的赞誉.

何玲玲目前是华盛顿国家歌剧院的签约歌唱家;  美国音乐艺朮家协会会员; 美国歌唱教师学会会员; 美国歌剧协会会员.

她曾任教于美国那布拉斯加- 林肯大学（University of Nebraska-Lincoln）, 美国路德教会大学 (Concordia University), 和新加坡李伟菘音乐学校。目前担任华盛顿国家歌剧院歌剧推广教育部门的声乐指导老师。

Biography

Described by John O’Connor of the Munster Express, Ireland “Lingling as the Gypsy Queen was fantastic and she had such force and dramatic quality”.  In Opera Madama Butterfly, she was commended “as the impressive servant Suzuki” by Amy Lamphere, Lincoln Journal Star.

Lingling has been singing with Washington National Opera since 2005. She has sang the role of Tigrana in Puccini’s rarely performed opera Edgar, Musetta in Leoncavallo’s La Boheme, both with  American Center for Puccini Studies,  and Martha in opera Iolanta with Bel Cantanti Opera Washington DC.  Her previous opera engagement included Dorabella (Cosi Fan Tutte), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), and Hansel (Hansel and Gretel). She performed Gypsy Queen (The Bohemian Girl) in the Ireland Waterford International Light Opera Festival, and Gek Choo (Bunga Mawar)  in the world premiere with Singapore Lyric Opera. Her soloist oratorio performances include Verdi’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Mass in c minor, among others. She has performed concerts and recitals world wide including China, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States.

               She was an award winner in the 7th Gerda Lisser Foundation International Vocal Competition in New York City, and the first prize winner of the Singapore Composition Singing Competition. As one of the twelve singers selected from eight major cities around the world, Lingling was invited to compete in the 3rd Monte-Carlo Voice Masters International Competition. She was recipient of Singapore National Art Council Bursary (overseas), and Peabody Career Development Grant.

Lingling graduated from Guangxi Arts Institute in China, and received her Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Music degree in voice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, School of Music. She is a teaching artist of Washington National Opera education department, member of American Guild of Musical Artists, and member of  National Association of Teachers of Singing.

声乐教学：1. 公开课  (授课对象：青年教师，研究生和高年级声乐学生)：针对学生个人的具体情况教授和提高其发声技巧，歌曲演唱风格，语言和音乐表现能力等。（两天）

2. 讲座：介绍美国音乐学院学生的现状，他们如何从学校进入专业艺术大门。美国当今百老汇音乐剧现象和影响，以及解答一些学生们感兴趣的问题。（一个半天）
